I've noticed this PCFriendly program being on most DVDs. Whenever I put in a DVD on my computer, it pops up, saying "This PCFriendly DVD contains additional content and features specifically designed for your computer and the internet. Would you like to play this DVD now?"

I always click "quit" or "no" since I don't like installing random programs on my computer. But only now am I bothering to ask what is it? And should I go ahead and install it?

I haven't seen that on my DVDs.. which titles in particular have this software? I've seen that PC Friendly stuff on some Enhanced CDs (audio), but not on DVDs.

Um...i had PC Friendly on a couple DVDs that i own...and i don't own many, so it was probably American Pie 1, Friday, The Wizard of Oz, i know it wasn't the matrix, um....dunno. BUT...i installed it..and i think it was a DVD player as well as the "enhanced" items from the CD.

IMO...don't install it. It's not worth the extra clutter and waste of time.

It was on my Gladiator DVD and Best of Friends DVD. There are a few others but I can't remember them.

It acts a lot like spyware, also. Don't install it, all the things it has available are available when you just go to your D: drive(or whatever it may be)
