PCem Emulator very slow

Well........it would really help if you could give us your computer specs. Without them there is nothing we can do to help.

From Wordpress:

"A fast CPU. At least if you want to run the more demanding 3DFX titles. Something around the 4Ghz mark. Emulation of a single thread CPU is impossible to run on multiple threads. As a result, a slower clocked octo core CPU will be no help to you here. I’m using an i7 3820 running at 4.2Ghz and I’m able to get performance similar to a Pentium 1 200Mhz. This gets me a good frame rate in games like Quake 2, Need for Speed III and even pretty playable frame rates in Quake 3. A host CPU of around half the speed will likely be able to keep up with games made for a Pentium 1 90Mhz."

I have i5-4670K@4200MHz, 8 GB RAM and GeForce GTX 970.

My PCem test results:

- Midtown Madness 2 on lower details 10 FPS or less
- Carmageddon 1 crashing with 3DFX (DOS/4GW error exception 0Eh Page Fault) WHY?
- Turok 1 lagging (around 20 FPS or less)
- Need for Speed 3 on high details with 3DFX it's not playable
- FPS drop in Quake 2 with 3DFX when it's explosion or more enemies
- Need for Speed: Porsche lagging with 3DFX 640x480 low/medium details (only 20 FPS)

What DOS/4GW error exception 0Eh Page Fault means? I had the same error in some MS-DOS games in Windows 98 on my old computer.

I tried Voodoo 2 in PCem 12 but many games which works in PCem 11 doesn't work in PCem 12. Should i use both (PCem and DOSBox) for Win 9x games because some games work only in PCem and some in DOSBox. There is no other Win 9x emulator with 3DFX.
