pcAnywhere 10.5 + Linksys Router

How safe is leaving pcAnywhere on all day, everyday, on my home machine? I've forwarded the 2 ports that it uses (I've changed them from default) to my internal IP. So all I have to do is intialize it as host and I'm set to connect via remote right? Nothing else to it?

There is a low risk leaving pcAnywhere on 24/7. You can leave it on, but best to log out of your workstation profile in stead of Locking it when you leave your computer.

Change ports to make it more difficult for PC anywhere sniffers (usually they look for default ports), than in security tab enable encription and mark "do not accept lower level" or smthg like that.
