PC60bplusII Antec 900 P180b?

I'd like to get the 180b, but i find it somewhat ugly and cheap looking

The 900 is a little flashy, sort of looks good, but is not designed all that well, especially in terms of where the PSU goes and the cable management.

The pc60bpII looks nice, but it may not cool all that well and I'm worried about the CPU vent getting in the way of a big heatsink.

Your thoughts or suggestions....

Thanks

Id pick the 900, for cooling, and the P-180 for looks but also has great cooling, and well the Lian Li depends or your system specs, you may have to mod it for better cooling.

I've had the P180 and the 900. In terms of cooling, the 900 is way better than the P180. Wire management sucks in both cases. Overall I liked the 900 because its smaller, lighter and keeps my computer cooler.

Get the PC-7B Plus II instead of the PC-60B. Looks exactly the same, doesn't have the CPU vent you're worried about and uses 120mm fans. Only negative is it doesnt have the removable motherboard tray.

I third getting the Lian Li PC7B Plus II. Very good cooling and it's a solid case. Won't break the bank either.

The p180 looks a lot better in person and you can feel how quality it is while working on it and you'll be impressed.

Agreed. For $80 it's a great case (more than that, even... The recent sales just make it even sweeter).

I've got the 60II and I removed the HSF duct and replaced all the fans in the case. Currently running a 50% FSB OC at 23ºC mobo and 22ºC CPU. great case, love the thumbscrews, easy to work on.

edit: and i have the Scythe Infinity, which is one of the largest HSF out there, and an x1900 AIW, which is longer than an 8800. Plenty of room in the case.

Heh!

Reminds me of Goldilocks... 😀

P180B definitely!

I like my Antec 900 but the wire management is difficult, the hard drive cages are a pain and the front ports are on the top of the case which for me is an issue. My case is on my desk.
