PC4200 vs PC3200 memory on socket 939?

Hello,

I have OCZ pc4200 at 533Mhz at 3-4-4-8 and pc3200 at 400Mhz at 2-2-2-8
Which one going to perform better? Are timings really important?

That's like comparing apples to oranges. What kind of timings does the OCZ get at PC3200 speeds?

And BTW, timings matter VERY LITTLE in A64 systems. Read up.

You'll be better off lowering the multiplier on your proc and cranking it up to the max your ram can do. Timings don't affect the performance of A64's much at all.

I understand all abovementioned.
Why does not anybody recommend pc4200 or pc4400?
Everybody recommends pc3700eb, is there a reason favoring it over pc4400?
Price is about the same.
