I bought another gig of Kingston Hyperx PC3500 ram (2x512) for my computer, and for some reason CPU-Z shows it as PC3200. The original dimms appear as PC3500, but the new ones don't. I'm running them at 2.5-2-3-5, 2.75V. Any thoughts? I have an MSI 865PE mobo.

I should also note I can't get Sandra to run the memory benchmark either. Says windows is out of resources, even after a restart.

Just got Sandra 2005, able to run the memory benchmark now. But, Sandra also recognizes these new dimms as PC3200. Do you think I got screwed?

"pc3500" ram means it is guarunteed to be able to handle 220FSB instead of 200 with default voltage and timings should you overclock. IE, you will only benefit from faster than 3200 ram if you overclock!

what Azzy is sayin is that your ram works as PC3200 without any overclocking
