How big is the difference between PC3200 and PC2700..especially in terms of gaming, maybe a few frames?

the memory runs at the speed of the CPU.

there will be 0 difference, the only difference will be if you have a 333 MHz CPU or a 400 MHz CPU... the PC2700 would be running in spec on a 333MHz system bus, and the PC3200 would be running in spec on a 400MHz system bus.

I have PC3200 RAM, but my bandwidth results in SiSoft Sandra are around 2700MB/s and was just wondering how many frames Im losing..

could be a few, 3200 is fine for A64, 2700 can cripple it (since it runs at 333 minimizing processor potential)

well, it RUNS at DDR400, but the bandwidth I get is only around 2700mb/sec

so I shouldnt notice any huge difference?

I would say let your RAM do it's thing. Unless your games are running poorly then everything is as it should be. I have sort have become disillusioned with synthetic benchmarks. If your performance makes you happy then your computer is fast enough and you memory is fine :)
