Alright well I have a question here. This summer I am thinking of buying some new RAM, 2x512MB sticks of it. Anyways, I do overclock my processor but I don't think i'll be pushing the memory in radical directions because I am content with speed as it is (2500+ @ 3200+). I haven't really seen many reviews or anything that can provide me with help on this. I am aware of things like how the BH-5 is the best and that it is seemingly impossible to find, other things like that. I use an Abit NF7-S Rev2 board as well.
So I was thinking of Mushkin memory or Corsair's XMS series because I want some high-quality RAM. My buddy had some Geil and it had troubles, so i'm not going with that and I usually always use Crucial RAM but I want to see what is out there first. How is Buffalo RAM? I hear it is pretty good RAM, but i'm not sure. I am leaning towards Mushkin because I have heard great things about them, I have always regarded their memory as of some of the highest quality, and they have nice prices on Newegg. However, do you think I would want Level One or should I go for Level II RAM from Newegg instead? How about Corsair's XMS series? To put it bluntly: you won't see my RAM going 430Mhz, but you might see it around 410Mhz or 415Mhz. I'm just not sure what would fit me best and what might be overkill, if anything could be considered that in my case. I do video encoding/editing, music encoding/creation, programming and gaming as well as watching movies. Just about everything you could possibly do with a computer.
Thanks for any advice!
