I was thinking of putting some PC3200 memory in my KX7-333 motherboard to see if it would help me overclock some more. A good friend of mine, who usually knows a lot more about pc's than I do, told me he didn't think it would work. I was under the impression that as long as you went with memory that was rated above your motherboards' requirements, in this case pc2700, then it would work. I thought I would ask the experts before I ordered any.

Thanks,

Definately ...

My KX7-333 (non-R) runs 189.9 before the NB gives out.
(with Corsair XMS PC3200c2 at Cas 2.0 2 5 2 2 , 1T ! )

It's currently running 185fsb with PC2100

Just make sure you look under the NB for proper thermal paste.
(mine had very little)

I also put a crystal orb on the NB while I was at it.
