PC2700 on a 8KHA+? Will it work?

Will it run at PC2100 speeds because that's all the Mobo officially supports? Will it even boot up?

Fine @ 2100 i believe. If you overclock to 166 FSB then the memory shouldnt be the limiting factor.

Thats what I think.

It'll work fine backwards compatible. If it can run that fast should have no problem going slower. You'll be able to use aggresive timings for the memory. I can use my pc2700 at cas 1.5,5,2,2. Which is the fastest settings available for my board. Have to use 2,6,3,3 at pc2700 speed.

Yup. The RAM is backward compatible. I had a 512MB Mushkin PC2700 on Epox 8KHA+. No probs.
