I have an xp2400+ w/133/266 fsb and am starting to overclock so I upgraded to some funky (faulty) pc2700 memory. Would like to replace it with:

a) original samsung pc2700 from svc.com (512 mg) no part # given

b) crucial 0c2700 on sale from newegg (512 mg) CT6464Z335

If you were me, which would you buy? I'm dumb as a rock but good at listening to advice. I doubt I'll need anything higher than pc2700 since I have a kt400 motherboard and doubt I'll ever push fsb speeds that far.

Thanks ahead of time.

Needed the single push to use my credit card; thanks shady I read your posts a lot.

Now what to do with the error loaded memory I have; won't unload it on someone even as a gift. Maybe the daughter's boyfriend as a birthday gift? (hee hee) - seriously; we have 4 computers running ecs k7s5a's which I know take pc2100 memory; will this clock down in these motherboards so someone in the family can get some use out of the nasty stick?
