PC2700 Bandwith on centrino notebooks?

I have a barebone G551 which said it supports pc2700. But it can't run my pc2700 at pc2700, it automatically runs it at pc2100 with no options to set it in the bios. I'm getting 2000MB/s at pc2100 and am wondering what is your bandwith using pc2700 ram on your centrino notebook using sandra mem. If its just a small increase like 200MB/s or less, I geuss its not worth fighting over.
