PC2400 is rated and guaranteed to run at a higher speed then PC2100 DDR SDRAM.
In this case it's guaranteed to run reliably at 150MHz (300MHz DDR) whereas PC2100 is only guaranteed to run at 133MHz (266MHz DDR).

Presently, unless your overclocking the FSB then PC2100 is all you need.

PC2100 is a 133 (266) FSB, PC2400 is a 150 (300) FSB.

Durons run at 100Mhz Bus.
TBirds run at 100 or 133Mhz Bus.

If you get a TBird w/133Mhz Bus and you want to overclock higher than 133 then the DDR300 (PC2400) might be a good idea.
If you don't care about overclocking DDR266 (PC2100) is fine.

Mushkin PC2400 is only $83 for 256megs. Sounds pretty sweet to me. CAS 2 even!
