pc166 or DDR2100

I want to overclock and I was just wondering which would be faster???
the PC2100 module is from Crucial and I was wondering how fast it can get up to on average??
The the PC166 module is from www.buyaib.com and it says on the site that it can go up to 183MHZ
If any of you techheads can give me some answers it would be very much appreciated!!!
thanks

well are you planning on buying a new motherboard, because either way with your K7TPro2A you can't push the FSB past around 110 or so. If you are buying a new motherboard, get a DDR one, you should be able to push the FSB pretty high. No point in going with SDRAM anymore, IMHO

I have the same mobo as you, and it doesn't support PC2100. PC2100 is PC133 DDRed. It uses a different pin count and voltage spec than your mobo supports. If you are goin to overclock, then the RAM you mentioned (not PC2100) would be a good choice.

hey guys, i know my motherbaord doesn't support DDR, I plan on going with the EPOX 87ka+ if I go the ddr route, and i do plan on buying another board if i plan to stick with SDRAM.
thanks

If you want performance go with the DDR. Sure the SDRAM would be fast for standard SDRAM but also think about what speeds you want a year or 2 down the road.
