I hope this question makes sense.I'm just now starting to get into the DDR thing.

Will a good quality DDR pc1600 memory stick which is designed(im pretty sure that is) to be used on systems with 100mhz front side bus work with a 133mhz front side bus systems and run at the higher speed? I saw some cas2 128mb PC1600 memory sticks for sale for like 17 bucks shipped and I just picked up a new DDR motherboard and was going to use it with my Duron chip but would also like to use the memory with a newer XP chip eventually.

Should I not even bother with it?

PC1600 memory is made to run at 100, not 133. Some memory will run at it, and others wont. Maybe it would be best to just buy some PC2100 memory. It is better in the long run.

Thanks for the quick response. Ya I better just go with the 2100.
