Ok so this might seem to most people like a really stupid question but im going to ask it anyway just to make sure. I have a SOYO SY-P4RC350 like this one: Link and was wondering if I can stick some PC133 ram onto it? Will it work or destroy the computer?

not going to work, if you would have tried to use pc133, you would have quickly realized they wouldn't fit...only way ya would have destroyed motherboard is if you were to use a hammer to get them to fit.
depending on cpu you are going to use, you'll need neither pc2700 or pc3200 memory.

You need to use PC2700 with that cpu....256mb is ok, is ya can, get 2x256mb, 512 is optimal, but you can always add more later.

desi01...i downloaded manual for that board, you can use PC2100, your cpu would run at 533fsb but memory would be runnin at 400MHz, which is ok, if you have pc2100....but if you gotta buy, then get pc2700 or better yet if price is right, just get pc3200.....sorry for givin bad info earlier.

I already got the celeron cpu. I have read good reviews for it... people getting it easily to 3.6GHz and plus i don't really care all that much about speed for this computer. And i will prolly just get the pc2700 ram then. This is like a super budget computer. So far I have got the case, mobo, and cpu for $5 all new and I have a spare cd-rom, hard drive and floppy im putting into it. I guess i'll just have to spend the extra $30 for the ram. :(
