PC133 on an FIC VA-503+ ?

A friend asked me about upgrading memory on her machine.
I opened it up and found a VA-503+ Mb. (k6-2 300 mhz cpu)
It has a 32 meg DIMM in it now, I'm not sure what speed, but I think it's 66mhz memory. (I couldn't tell what the jumpers were set to without the manual).

I planned on just putting in a new 128 meg stick to replace it.

I downloaded the manual from FIC and it says it supports PC100 (I actually built a system with the same MB and PC100 a few years ago, so I know that will work).

I just picked up a PC133 stick and I'm wondering if it will work.

Crucial.com says PC133 will work on this MB, but it's unclear from FIC whether or not it will.

So, does anyone know for sure if it will?

Thanks in advance.

It should be fine. Of course the board will only run the memory at 100 MHz, but it should run it as CAS 2. Don't try and use EDO RAM and SDRAM at the same time, though. I still use a VA-503+ occasionally. It was my main rig until last summer when it started crashing. I have to pull it apart and examine the power supply, CPU fans and maybe play with the RAM.
