DOes anybody know if I can run the memory bus at 133 on my ASUS P3V4X with the FSB running at 66 or in my case 75Hz. If I am not mistaken the memory can be run at 100Mhz +-33 Mhz reguardless of the FSB frequency. I have PC-133 memory which was $1.00 more a stick at the time. I bought it so I figured what the hell by the Pc-133 and have room to upgrade. Maybe I can still gain some benifit from it with the Celeron.

i don't think you can run the memory at 133 if your fsb is running at 75mhz. i think the settings for the chipset allow you to run the memory at 4/3*fsb, which in your case is 100mhz. i could be wrong but i think that's how it works.

Well I think what your saying is to change the AGP to DRAM ratio. THe AGP 1x is 66 Mhz. So if I run a FSB of 66 the the AGP/DRAM should be 1. Ok then if the DRAM frequency is 100 then I use an AGP/DRAM of 2/3 to run AGP at 66. I am confused here what happens when you run a 75 Mhz FSB does that mean the AGP is 50. Or is it always 66 and the ratio deternmines the DRAM frequency reguardless of FSB speed. The only options that I have for the AGP/DRAM are 1, 1/2, and 2/3. THe article I read on in the review section acted like it was so easy the you had three options you can run the memory at 66, 100, or 133 reguardless of the FSB speed but they must be linked somehow.

If you run your FSB at 75MHz, you should set the AGP ratio to 1:1, meaning that your AGP will run at 75MHz. This is fine for just about all AGP cards, even old ones.

FSB is completely linked to PCI, DRAM and AGP speed. When you change the FSB, you use the dividers to keep the other peripherals as close as possible to their specified speed.

Ok then can I run my Ram at a higher speed than the bus. If so how do I do that. Which ratio do I change. Also how does running at AGP 2x and 4X effect things.
