PC133 CAS3 OR PC100 CAS2 ??????????

Hello. I have a quicky : which one is better : pc100 cas2 or pc133 cas3 ?

There are both Kingston Value Ram (check hot deals forum) and they are both 49.95.

I plan to use it with Asus A7T and Duron cpu. Which one will o/c better ?

i would go for the pc133 cas3, cause if its kingston, it should EASILY do cas2........and possibly even as high as o lets say 140mhz mebbe....oh wait.......you say duron? then DEFINITELY get the pc133, cause if you get the pc100 you wont be able to overclock it too much cause via boards dont run too stable past 110mhz fsb, which is only about +3mhz pci, so your pc133 should be able to do:
cas2 @ (hostclock+pciclock) 100mhz+36mhz=136mhz.......good enough.....

The higher the thruput, the better performance. At the same FSB, Cas 2 will outperform CAS 3.

yes, but i think itll be QUITE hard taking that pc100 up to 133........and btw, im sure the pc133 can do cas2 anyway......

133mhz @ CL3 will out perform 100mhz @ CL2. No contest. I think this is the info that you are looking for.

pc133 @2-2-2 is much better

but 133@ 3-3-3 compared to 100@2-2-2 is about the same
