PC100 vs. PC2100

As usual take my findings with a grain of salt.
First computer is an Athlon Thunberbird clocked at 10 X 121 = 1210 Mhz
Running PC100 memory, W2K SP2.

Does the DDR vs. PC100 make that big of a difference? Or is somthing else going on here?
 
Yep it is the DDR vs. PC100 that makes the difference. Well ok the morgan core of the Duron helps too but I would think that would be offset my the higher FSB of the T-Bird.
 
Shotgun, you should download sisoft sandra and do a memory Bench, you'll see a big differance in the ALU and FPU between the 100 vs 2100.

I will have to try that soon. I'll be getting a Athlon XP 1700 soon too 😀
