What's the diference, between using a PC100 and PC133 RAM in an Athlon system? I'm using a pair of 64MB PC100 DIMM, and I don't know if swapping to a 128MB PC133 DIMM will increase the performance...

If you switched the settings in the BIOS for your RAM to run at 133 u'd get a performance increase with PC133 yup.. but it's negligible when there are other things maybe u could upgrade for a more useful reason.. such as a video card, or something. you probably wouldn't notice a hell of alot of difference at 133 as you would with a faster video card. but if you've already got a good video card and u just want to buy some PC133. sure why not. Sandra will show a slight improvement....

Hey,

What about going from a Celeron with the 66mhz FSB and pc133 ram to a P3 with the 133mhz FSB? How much performace could I see with a similarly clocked P3 as opposed to my Celery 700?
