Does anyone know how high I could push my PC-100 RAM?
I've got 128 meg of PC-100 and 64 of PC-133. I want to push my Thunderbird higher by using the FSB.

I suppose if I can't get it very high I'll have to use the pencil trick.
 
Ram isn't Ram...
Unless you don't have any high-quality-known rams like Infineon or Muschkin, no one can tell you how far your rams will go.
If your 128 is high quality it may even exceed your 64 if it's low quality.

I'd post more infos about the rams you have. Perhaps some ram-fanatics out there can tell you more then...

good quality ram chips like toshiba pc-100 will run rock at 124

cheap stuff. 112-120

Pc-66 stuff (maybe 100)
 
Although your RAM may or may not be quality, chances are that with any setup making use of the EV6 bus you will not be able to get your FSB over 110 anyways. These are not Intel chips people! (They're better! hehe) Most probably your only options are up to 107-110 FSB or running your memory at hostCLk+PCICLK (100mhz and 133mhz respectively). In this case, it is VERY unlikely (not impossible) that your PC100 will run that high, and then you are no longer increasing the speed of the processor, just the speed of the RAM. Break out that pencil and go to town! Good luck!
