PC100 or PC133 RAM

The motherboard I have is the Asus P3BF. According to their web page, my mb takes PC100 RAM. I was curious to know if PC133 RAM is backwards compatable on a mb that only support PC100.....Thanx in advance.
 
BTW: Can you mix-match PC100 and PC133 RAM? I have four slots on my mb...2 filled up now w/PC100...who knows what will happen if I dump a PC133 chip in......anyone know?
