PC/Xbox to Monitor - HDMI Switch?

Well, I'm going to be hooking up my 360 to my monitor, and I only have one HDMI port on it. I would need to use the HDMI port on my Xbox to output sound so it's really the only viable option for me.

I've been looking around and think an HDMI Splitter would be a good choice. Here's three I found: http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-Po...cm_rdp_product

http://www.monoprice.com/products/p..._id=1011001&p_id=8150&seq=1&format=4#feedback

http://www.amazon.com/Apogee-HDMI-3x...ds=hdmi+switch

Are either of those good? The second one is an optionally powered one, but I'm not sure what that even means.

The reason I can't do VGA is because of lack of 1080p and switching sources on my monitor manually restarts my 360.

Thanks.

>_< I knew that. I don't know why I typed splitter.

Is there a difference between the powered and non-powered ones?

powered is not draining from the signal. Get the equalizing ones too. Many a TV HDMI ports died without that extra bit of protection.
