I'm running Win XP Pro and this used to work for me...the only recent installs I've done are WinXP updates, and I've installed Photo Story 3 (which needed Windows Media Player 10 and Direct X 9.0) and Logitech Desktop Messenger and Logitech software.
Any ideas why when I hit the power button in the standby mode the box powers up, but the video card doesn't, or at least the monitor doesn't get the signal and the disks don't spin either.
The odd thing about it is that when it goes into Standby the Power light is still on but the video and hard disks appear to shut off so I have to hold the power button down and then the system shuts down (I can tell this by the power light going off). The I have to press the power button again to get the system to boot.
Hmmmmmm.
