I left my PC on over night. This morning I found that it had powered down by itself.

When I attempt to power it on the power led and the hdd led both go on. The case fan, cpu fan and fan on my graphic's card all spin up, however nothing display's on the screen and there are no beeps from the motherboard.

I've tried replacing the mobo battery, reseating the ram and graphic's card, clearing the cmos all with the same result.

My computer:

I use the 350W Antec power supply that came with my SLK3700AMB case.

I built the PC about 3 - 4 years ago and haven't had any other real issues.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

time to test the power levels on the PSU. you'll need a multimeter to check them.

you are using a mid grade surge protector or UPS right?

if you'd post the results, sounds like a dead board but will wait to see what readings you get.

The 12V and 5v were both about in range; however, the 3v seemed a little high. I got a reading between 3.7-3.9.

that's not bad, if it was higher than that, then I'd worry. I think you may have a dead board.

try it without the cpu, it should beep at you or do something if it's still working.
