PC won't Boot

Last nyt after installing a new HSF my pc wont boot,case fans are spinning,Heat sink fan is spinning but no boot up. What made things worst there is no beep at all. i have a abit ip35-e mobo and some should know of the double boot issue,but mine does not even pass the double boot. any suggestions on what to do? thanks :)

Du u hef ani dsplay? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Did you clean and re-apply a thermal compound to your CPU? Did you re-seat the CPU? Did you check ram and GPU are seated correctly?

when you applied the thermal transfer compound, you only put a dab on the processor, correct?
I agreee, make sure the CPU,GPU, and ram are seated snugly.

make sure your 20(24), 4, and power connectrs for the motherboard and video card are connected.

all i did was remove the previous hsf and put in the new one,ram and gpu are seated correctly,will try tonight sir. only had an hour of sleep because of this

it's a posibility, but did you clean off the old compound off the processor before applying nw compound and installing the HSF?

hope not cause i remember not putting the four pins and turned it on. Then i i connected it again,same result.

yup,cleaned the hsf and procie and replaced the compound. :) whew,im installed a Ttake Big thypoon,quite hard installing it and tightening it. Whats better, a tight installation of HSF or loose?
