I have a custom pc that has been running great since i built it in February, until today. i was in the middle of using it when it shut down and refused to star up again. the light on the motherboards power button is on but when i press it nothing happens, the fans don't spin up, i don't get a post, nothing.

Please help me

the specs are:
i5 2500k @ 3.3 ghz, but has been over clocked previously
2 x 4 gb G skill sniper series RAM @ 1600 mhz
ASUS PX68-V gen. 3
Corsair HX750 PSU
H100 cpu cooler
ocz Vortex 3 90 gb ssd
western digital caviar black 750 gb

Check if it's the case switch by shorting the pins on the mb.
Then, check the PSU by using a paperclip to short the appropriate pins on the connector (refer to the manual).

I did both tests, nothing happened with the motherboard one, but with the power supply, the LED on my fans would flash on but only for a fraction of a second, should this happen, if so what does it mean?
