i bought that about a week ago. after installing it today, correctly, i went to boot and got nothing. the only signs of life are a half-a-second bleep on the front led and the lights on my network card. i double checked all connections, twice. the psu comes with a main 20+4pin connector, which i seperated to b compatable with the 20pin connector on my mobo(make sense?). I re-installed my old psu, and everything works fine, thank god. what could b wrong? my specs

IBM/Lenovo Thinkcentre 8185
P4 i865chipset
intel *** mobo, not sure
2gb ballistix ram
80g hd
3.5 floppy
DVD/CD drive

Got any pics of the motherboard? Chances are, the mobo is just a standard microATX and the PSU will work.

bumpity bump bump! come on guys! i have a new (to me), shiny 850xt I wanna try out, but can't unless I get this psu up and running. all pins are the same for the old and new psu. I noticed this time around that my power-on LED flashes once every five seconds, but I still can't get the comp to post. HHHEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! seriously, i need it.
