PC version of Battlefield 3 to be best

what they're doing with MoH scares me though. the game is barely out and there's already a $10 DLC... and everyone was saying the game was overpriced to begin with at $60.

I got it as a gift and couldn't bare playing it longer than 30min an hour.

As horrible as the Beta was.

BC2 is better (but still weird IMO) don't see myself going back to that as well.

I don't think I will be buying any Battlefield games in the near future.

I loved BF2 and 2142, neither were perfect but both had huge maps and awesome gameplay. Man oh man, I miss those two games. BC2 is weird, it's sort of the same thing and it felt GREAT at first but then faded very quickly for me. 35 hours is all I got out of it and then I was done. 2142 I easily dumped 250 hours and BF2 over 200.

I'm desperate for BF3 to be "that game" that brings me back to the series. The fact it's coming out on consoles makes me think it'll be tailored towards them just like BC2... Ugh...

And please give us some normal lighting in the game and without the endless snow/dust clouds blowing all over the place.

yep, the CoD games are 100x better than any BF game will ever be.
I can get into a MW2 game and actually kill people and have fun. BF games are just a lesson in frustration. Shitty hitboxes, shitty weapons that have no accuracy, huge maps that take forever to get to the action, assholes that TK for vehicles, assholes that don't give you a ride, 90% of the people just sniping, players look like ants unless they're 2 feet in front of you if you can see them at all because they blend into the environment, etc, etc, etc.

I'm not saying the CoD games are perfect, but for me they are much better than BF games.

Sounds like you're only talking about BC2 which isn't a model Battlefield game. BF 1942 and BF2 are great games and don't have the stupid perks like CoD games do and aren't just run 'n' gun games and actually have some decent teamwork.

so true.. I can't believe we've regressed into just run & gun type BS.. BC2 is fun but without fighter jets, bomb-ass maps like those in BF2, BC2 pales in comparison.

I really enjoyed Battlefield 2 and haven't found an online gaming experience as good again in a very long time.

That said, it was always terribly important to find a good server that wasn't full of idiots. I appreciate the comments about people teamkilling for vehicles and ignoring requests for help. Once you find a decent bunch of people to play with the game can be awesome. I used to play in a BF2 clan, and once I did I never had those problems.

I agree, the game requires sensible players working together to work well, and when it does work well there's not much else like it. But yeah, if you play against the random 13-year-olds it can be unpleasant.

2142 was awesome... played that a lot and BBC2 is buggy on my computer and I can't fix it although I've spent hours trying. IMO COD franchise is better than (well ones made by infity ward at least), Even if it is a console port nowadays. Hopefully Treyarch get Black Ops right and make the game MW2 should of been.

Just 2011 sometime. I think we still have a whole year until it releases. I don't see it any earlier than September 2011. Next year is going to be some big PC releases, SC2 Zerg episide, Diablo 3, Battlefield 3, some great big super anticipated games.

I don't like the trend they are going more and more towards unlocking shit when you play for 67 million hours and get a badass gun. I hate that. Keep it simple. Keep it equal playing field. Agreed, I call it unfair advantage created by developers/CEOs to get people to play the game more.

IMO "how much time spent playing" should not dictate ANYTHING.

I always felt BF2 had a lot of good medal challenges. That when you earned them legitimately, felt like a real lot of work. However, I do agree that these challenges should never have actual weapons as rewards, perhaps different weapon graphics and definitely medals of some sort.

I will take BlackOps over this game. It has a weak engine and is inferior to BlackOps engine.

Basically its better graphics and smoother play with COD engine... BF2 BF3 engine is in house and very poorly optimized and thus slow game experience suxxors.. :0
