PC vendors scramble as Intel announces vulnerability in firmware [Updated]

Thanks for posting. Asus already had an update for my board, but before applying it, you had to update to the latest bios and update the IME drivers. What a pain, couldn't apply old profiles to the new bios, so had to spend a couple hours figuring out all my OC settings and other bios settings.

Yes, Lenovo update told me about this one. Fortunately it appears my 4790k is too "old" to be vulnerable.

I could have sworn this was already known like months ago. Or was that yet another Intel vulnerability?

My old laptop says it can't detect the code or what ever. I take it this thing isn't vulnerable. But I have to test my desktop. I reckon old computers aren't vulnerable.
