pc upgrading: case powerswitch plugs to MB problem

Hi - need help please - I am sure this is a simple question: this or that kind of issue BUT I must make the right choice.
I am upgrading pc new mb, etc. so need to plug old power switch plugs into new MB to F_PANEL connector. Trouble is I have two plugs to choose from with four wires(brown & black; white & blue) to go to PW (Power switch) connector and MSG(Message LED/Power/SleepLED) on Gigabyte MB GA-8S648FX-775(-C). I am confused: in each set of two wires which one is + and which is -; AND which connector on the MB do I hook them up to?
Please anyone can you help me. I have replaced everything else in this PC system with ease but this problem has me stumped!!
Thanks so much in advance - in debt to you. Banksia1

Don't any of those little connectors have white labelling on them? They have in every case I've seen.

HDD LED goes to the hard drive LED jumper; Power goes to the PW_ON jumper.

Also, the LEDs are polarized; look very closely at the little black connector from the case; you should see a tiny little raised triangle near one of the holes. That usually indicates the positive wire.

thanks Jeff7 much appreciated.

YES the power LED, reset switch, HDD LED DO have lettering on the plugs BUT these two plugs have NO lettering at all would you believe!!
I did see the raised triangle and was wondering if this indicated the positive -- thanks for that confirmation - its great to be certain of these things.
Also I have checked two other computers at home and they only have two wires leaving the power switch on the case! So I was wondering why this switch has four wires and two plugs.
