I have been having this issue where when I burn CD or DVD with any program(Nero or DVD Decrypter) and a file of any size, my computer shuts down and doesn?t restart. I have to manually start it. This happens right after 1% burning progress. This problem started when I installed a HD3850 512MB from a HD3850 256MB, 2GB more of Ram to a total of 4gb, and a AMD 6000+ X2 from a 3800+ X2. In addition to those to those items, I have 2 SATA HDD, 1 SATA DVD-ROM, IDE DVDRW, MSI K9N Platinum V1.0, and various HDD connected via USB.
To try to fix this issue, I have uninstalled the new RAM, switching to a more powerful PSU (450W to Antec Trio 650W), removed external USB devices, and unplugged power from internal devices inside case and still have this issue. I did not see errors when I checked the Event Viewer under Admin Tools. I am not sure it?s temp since they are the same from when it was first working.
So what could I try next to solve this issue? Thanks for you help.
