I have my Samsung series 4 450 42 inch plasma hooked up to my PC with DVI/HDMI cable for video and 2 RCA/3.5 MM for audio. The soundcard is a sound blaster audigy SE.
I am trying to watch movies on my TV that are saved on my PC.Video works but no sound.
I have everything connected properly according to Samsung.
Went through troubleshooting with Creative and everything is setup properly/unmuted...My regular desktop speakers work fine as well.
At the end of the conversation the creative guy puts me on hold then comes back and tells me that the soundblaster audigy SE does not support HDMI audio. When i ask him which sound card does he tells me none of them currently support this set up.
Does this sound right to anyone? Does anyone know of a sound card that will work or have any suggestions or advice?
Thanks in advance.
