Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me, my system's and cpu temperature is both showing 44 c , is this ok or is the temp too high?

my specs:

XP2600
Gigabyte 7VAX-A mobo
1 Stick of 512 Crucial PC3200 RAM CL3
IBM Hitachi 123gb HD 7200rpm 8mb
Abit Siluro 128mb 8x nvidia VGA card
350w generic PSU

Many Thanks

thanks for ur help, another thing how do I overclock this xp2600 , I think its running at 2.08MHz. I see you are running xp2500 and your clock is 2.3MHz.

thanks again

maybe it is just me, but it sounds as though his sensors are not reading correctly... I've never seen ambient temps the same as cpu temps... is this off a cold boot? Did you check the temps immediately after powering on? If yes, that is way, way too hoot, as even idleing you are likely at 50, at least. What are your temps under load?
