Yes, it seems. But I haven't found any other threads in Google with the exact same problem.

@Rob2290 I'll update my BIOS this weekend, hoping that by then, version F4 will be released...
Because of my server location, it's really annoying to unplug / move / replug ;(

See you.

Hi,

I tried to update my BIOS yesterday, in vain.

My EFI Flash is outdated which don't allow me to upgrade my BIOS to F3. Same problem with F2.

The only way is to launch EFIFLASH.exe delivered inside F2 zip file. But it's really hard to do that, with a Linux... 😛

So for now, I'm stucked with F1 BIOS.
Plus, I found "HPET Timer" parameter which I switch to Disabled.

For now my server refuse to boot automatically, I think he is stuck because of the GRUB.

See you.

Ok, after 1 week of tests, the HPET Timer don't seems to correct my problem.

I will try to use @bios with a Bootable Windows but it's tricky because of it's stability.

See you.

Sorry to necro this old thread but since it is the one I found when I had this problem and no one has actually come back and posted about their results, this issue is due a faulty mobo. I replaced mine and the issue has gone away completely. No need to update bios or monkey with bios settings. If you have this problem go ahead and swap the board....anything else and you're wasting time.
