not sure if this post belongs here or in PC software, but it's a combination of both.
My roomies PVR box has HDMI output, and outputs audio over it as well.
I have this video file, a very large video file, that is a .ts file, and has Dolby Digital Plus @ 1.5mbps as the audio track. My receiver is not HDMI 1.3 capable, so I believe there is no way to just send that as bitstream to the receiver and listen as is. So, is there any software that will play the video and decode the audio and send it over HDMI so as to let me enjoy it as it was meant to be?
