PC similar to new iMac G5?

The new Apple iMac G5 is a nice looking machine and I really like the remote control and builtin webcam. But I don't want a MAC. Does Dell or HP make a PC similar to this iMac? I don't want a tower plus a monitor, I want a slim all-in-one computer, I want the PC equivalent to the iMac.

Does anyone know who makes something like this? I remember IBM used to have an all-in-one NetVista but it was REALLY EXPENSIVE for its time. Sure looked cool sleek and black though.
 
haha wow....there is a nice answer to this....the iMac G5! you'd be surprised by how far superior the computer is, especially in terms of the operating system and service. honestly...is windows really that GOOD? ever considered that?
 
wow that gateway is ugly.
i was reading pcworld and i saw an ad for something like that but much sexier.

btw dell nor hp have anything like it.

Ugh. I'm not impressed with that Gateway. The CPU might be a little faster than the iMac (maybe?) but it has less ram than the iMac, no webcam, no remote, and the worst thing is the integrated Intel graphics, all for a few dollars MORE than the iMac. The iMac has 128 MB Radeon X600 Pro graphics on a PCI-E bus too and it's a tad cheaper.

Can't anyone copy the iMac? ARGH!!

I want a slim desktop CPU with similar specs to the iMac G5, but I want it to cost $900 and come with a 2 GHz Pentium M or a 2.8 GHz P4. Is there no such thing?

I guess there isn't much of a market for people willing to throw their 20" LCD in the garbage every time they upgrade their PC.

im pretty sure the imac has a visa mount.

OP. Why not get a mac? any PC maker willing to invest the money in making an imac like case would charge a premium for it, negating the cost difference.
 
pfft, i really dont get al the fuss, the G5 is a hell of a nie computer, but truthfully does it match pc's nowadays, i know for Games it doesnt but for sound recording some people are still saying its ebtter to go with macs, they would rather prefer a 512 ram - 2 GHZ G5- or even G4 comparing to a AMD athlon 64 with 2 Gigs, is the cpu processing that much better/ >?
