PC running Starcraft with Lag, I need help on upgrade

You should buy a video card and a AM2+ mobo, that way you can still use your current cpu in the new mobo but when that cpu needs upgrading all you'll have to do is buy a new cpu and drop it in. AM2+ mobos are cheap anyway
