Umm, Im posting here because I've run out of Ideas, and want other forum members to chip in. :D

Someone might post something I have not thought off.

Basically this PC needs to run 24/7.. It can run for about 4-8 hours fine, then reboots. Im not doing anything with it except running an ftp site, and on an mirc channel. No CPU/HD stressing thats going on..

Heres the specs

Celeron 466 (With Alpha Heatsink and Decent Fan on) - Also not overclocked
Abit BX6 (With latest Bios)
128MB Hyundai Memory
Unbranded 4GB Drive
2x IBM 60GXP Drive (1x BRAND New, Other 1x Month Old)
1x CD ROM Drive
ATI Rage Pro
350W PSU
Windows XP
Alcatel USB Modem
Branded NIC (Can't remember the brand, but based on Intel Chipset)

Basically this PC used to be my main PC, and worked like a charm. However I've put a clean install of WinXP, plus some standard apps. Like G6 FTP Server, MIRC... umm thats it.

What I have experienced, is the Drive that I have just bought is WHITE HOT to the touch, whereas my other drive is luke warm. Is this the reason why my PC is randomly rebooting?

I've even moved all drives around, giving them their own space, so a heat build up does not occur... Is it heat related the problem I have.

Also when XP boots up from a random reboot, it gives no errors. Its as if nothing has happened.

Please help if u can :)

ya, that drive shouldn't be that hot. Is the OS installed on it?

If not, try unplugging the drive and see if the problem goes away
