I've switched video cards, but that didn't help. The 275 works in my other machine so it's not that. I've tried moving around the RAM, using just one DIMM, that didn't work either. I don't know what else to do and I haven't been able to try switching PSUs because I've been so busy.

Should I buy a new/different PSU?

Take out the RAM and turn it on. If you hear a series of beeps the the Power supply and MB are functioning on some level (but still could be messed up). If you get no beeps then it should be either Power supply or MB.

After that I would switch PSU or get a PSU tester to show the voltage levels.

Okay well I just bought a Corsair 650W PSU anyways just in case. I'll let you guys know how that goes.

If you make sure the laptop ac adapter is no problem, you should be check your the video card and memory, any problem be found here.
