I bought this PSU last week seeing it on a few of the hot deal sites. FYI, this thing is really big. I tried to put it in an Antec P180 case with no luck. You might be able to do it with a lot of work --take out the bottom chamber fan and some how open up the cable hole to top part of the chassis. The cables are just too thick.

Unfortunately, I had just got a RMA the other day to return it and then my basement flooded that night and it's ruined. Anyway, I'm sure the PSU is good but really big with thick cables.

Hate to hear that your basement flooded and you are out a PSU. I was thinking about getting one of these to go in an Antec P182, but I guess you just saved me some money and headaches.

I have a P180 and yeah, you have to take out the bottom fan for it to work.

It IS possible to get all cables through the regular hole, BUT you have to make sure you keep them all straight and parallel with each other as you pull them through one by one.

I think it might be easier if you pull most of them through the regular hole for the PSU cables and the rest through the hole for the HDD connectors. You're most likely going to have to remove the bottom fan anyways, so you can probably do this if you don't have a bunch of drives down in that area.

Well I ordered this PSU and installed it over the weekend and it caused all sorts of issues (couldn't get into the bios, first screen would lock up, etc). I swapped back to my Antec last night and now I can get into the bios and windows boots each time. The only problem I still have is that my CPU fan isn't starting up right (takes it a few times to get spinning). I need to RMA mine out. Not sure its worth the hassle of dealing with the aggravation of the switch again.

Removing the fan wouldn't be too terrible if I recall... you can swap the fan up to the front of the bottom bays before the drive cage - it'd probably be better there anyway.

I got in on the ZZF deal a couple weeks back. Mine runs solid at least, even though I am not pushing its boundaries with a s939 system and x1800xt.

Good deal.

LOL same here. I think I'm only pulling something like 190W through the thing at load.

I had to stuff all the unused cables and connectors down in the bottom bay of my P180. That bay is chock full of cable, let me tell you what.

pricks just bumped the price up $10... i had one in my cart from a little earlier and was about to buy...

oh well... i don't think things are going to get too much more expensive in the next month or so...

I'm holding out for a good deal on a top-brand modular PSU.

Screw the classic type -- way too many power cables going every which way.

I've got it in a p180 without removing the bottom fan. I have the cables that I'm not using tucked under the power supply slot and the others working straight up. Come to think of it, I did use a regular tri-cool instead of the slightly thicker one that I believe the case originally came with in that position. I purchased my two 750W Silencers before they were bought out but I would attest to their quality. Great workhorse PSUs.
