eflat123 - *7* years labor haha .. they really would give you some good support back then.. Its a shame they dont have that kind of service anymore these days.

ActiveX - Its crazy to think that the Dell monitor back in 1996 has a higher rez then any 20" monitor in 2011 :)

Yeah but Onvia.ca/Onvia.com had $200 off any order of $250 or more in 2000. It was pretty darn sweet :). And I knew guys who had dorm rooms full of 'free' e-machines, running special software to click on "Alladvantage" banner ads and they were collecting $$$ from it.

And the money was good in the tech sector and tech jobs. $40k (which is like $80k in today's money) simply to do basic HTML coding. If they made you work at all -- offices were turning into playgrounds in many cases!

That is crazy too to think that machine prices could jump $400 for every 100MHz increment in CPU speed. While EVERYTHING else remains the same. Now adays, to go from a $400 machine to an $800 machine is a SERIOUS performance increase, and to go from $800 to $1200, now youa re talking serious gaming rig or halfway decent workstation. That's nuts on those prices man, oof! Good find!
