Okay.

This is what happened.

My PC was working fine, when i got up in the morning and went to use my PC i saw that it was contantly restarting itself. This has happened before, i just have to pull the sata hard drive cable out and put it back in, then its fine.

Tried that but did not work.

I tried another RAM stick, still did not boot.

(It goes to the windows logo and then restarts itself, it passes POST though.)

I tried a different hard drive, no luck.

I tried my ram and hard drive on a different machine works fine.

This is why i think my motherboard is the problem.

What do you guys think?

All help will be great.

I never tried the power supply.

Thanks o1die.

But do you think it could be the motherboard?

Is there any other tests i could try?

Did you zero format the HDD and clean install windows? Try another SATA cable at another SATA connector.

What did you mean by zero format the HDD, and i never tried to reinstall windows.

Tonight i will try to reinstall windows, but before that i will "Try another SATA cable at another SATA connector".

Another thing, a while ago my power supply started to make very strange noises.
I checked it, theres nothing blocking the fan... but the noise sounds like electricty (a type of crackling noise).

I know it sounds weired but thats what it soulds like.

Do you think it could be the power supply?

I'd get the new power supply anyway if yours is a few years old. I often change power supplies whenever I change motherboards. Every new upgrade requires a little more juice.

Some new info:

I went and saw a PC repair guy he told me after testing my Hard drive that it is pulling too much power.

Cause when he pulged it in to his PC as a slave it did not log on to windows.

I tried another SATA cable/ and another port but no luck.

The PC is sitting in that guys shop now, he said he will try to sort it out.
