pc not turning on pressing front button

everytime i push the power button in the front it wont turn on. i have to reach to the back and click the I/O and then it turns on.

how can i fix this problem?

i took out the motherboard and put in a different one. and the problem occured.

Are you sure you got the on-off switch connected correctly?

Double-check all the connections/plugs, and verify them in the mobo manual. The mobo connections are not always the same.

Verify those connections via the manual. The power and reset plugs look like they're in the right spot but reversed.

Also, why aren't you using the Q-Connector that should have come with the mobo?

its working now. you were right , the reset and power was reversed. yet the pc was still working i am wondering.....

also need to know if i need to uninstall the video card first before taking it out. ? i want to put this video card into another mobo.

Yes, it would be best to uninstall it from Windows first.
