I noticed since bldg my rig for the past week or so, (Rig is one month old) that windows XP shuts down but my rig dosn't, it just stays there on. The power LED turns off but the fans and everything else stays on. I have BIOS ver. 1009 on the A8N32-SLI MB. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi again, I don't have a MB like yours, but I think some MBs have a feature that let's you use the On/Off switch for both On/Off and Suspend. Seems like a single short press causes suspend and about a 4 second press cause shutdown. Not sure. Jim
