PC not picking up mouse or keyboard :(

Hi guys,

Had to format my pc because HD was failing.

I was able to log in to windows and install some drivers. I was installing the USB driver then restarted. Now my pc won't pick up my usb mouse or keyboard. As you can see this is a bit of a problem loging in to windows 🙁

Keyboard is not dead as I can get in to the BIOS.

I have tried logging in to Win2k via safe mode but that doesn't fix anything. Still no keyboard or mouse 🙁

Advice anyone?

I would but it is connected up to another machine behind a tv and just a complete MESS but I will try that now.

But either way I'd like my Apple keyboard to work though 😛

Tried a PS/2 keyboard from other computer. Lets me get in to BIOS but once at windows it won't let me do anything. I can't login without a keyboard 🙁

May mean another format if I don't get an answer.

Sounds like you got a probelm man. I would say reformat and start anew. This time make a slipstream with ur drivers in the pack...

Formatting now.

Keybord and mouse works in the setup. WEll FUNKY it did not work last time...

Formatted my pc and everything is working properly. Apart from m y Device Manager saying my USB controller isn't in sync 🙁. I swear it is is but it is giving me hassle!

It maybe the one from the monitor...hmmm...
