PC noise levels . . .

Looking for input as to how loud a Dell XPS 710 is when NOT under heavy gaming load such as when being used for web browsing or office related tasks. Trying to decide between a XPS 710 and Falcon N.W. Talon. The only answer I get from Falcon N.W. regarding the noise level of the Talon is "it's pretty quiet if you consider what it is built for". I know, "you can build it cheaper", but convenience trumps $$$ at this point in my life.
 
If money is no object you could always use a silent tiny PC like a Shuttle XPC100 for non-gaming work, then the noise level of your pure gaming system doesn't matter.
