PC Multi-CD games to DVD

Looking to convert some Multiple CD games I have (KOTOR 1, X-Men Legends II and others) to 1 DVD and have it installable as such.

Copying all the files to a folder, creating an ISO out of it doesn't work, so I'm assuming there's a file that needs to be edited so I'm not asked for CD #2, 3 & 4?

*NOTE: unlike KOTOR or some other games I have, X-Men Legends II wasn't released on DVD, just CD for the PC*
