Basically, I want to download x pages on PDF and not the whole book.

Here http://imslp.nl/imglnks/usimg/e/e2/...er_30_Etudes__Op46_-_complete__B.F._Wood_.pdf

I ONLY want to download PAGE 26. How do I do this? When I right click and save, it downloads the whole freaking book. How do I just download page 26 and keep only page 26? Any nerds here care to help me out? I give free iPod nano 42GB to the person who can solve this for me. :)

install cutepdf writer

open pdf in browser, print page desired to the pdf writer "printer"

thing is when you open it in browser, you have already downloaded the whole thing into your browser cache anyway, so may as well save the file locally, then print to pdf which ever page you want.

If you are using a Chromium based browser (eg, Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, etc) then you can print directly to PDF:

Print > (Destination) Change > Save as PDF > (Pages) Specify page 30 > Save > Set location and file name

The link you posted isn't working for me, this should be relatively easy:
1) Download the entire .pdf book
2) Scroll to page 26 and print to .pdf only that page, save to your hard drive

If you can post a working link by Monday 2:00 PM London, I'd be happy to give it a try and you can keep your iPod.

The link should work. It's a big book maybe wait for it to load up fully. :)

File looks like it's too large for MuseScore. I can try compressing it.

EDIT: It looks like MuseScore fails on converting it, regardless. Their OCR or whatever they are using to convert it probably has trouble with those older printed books, depending on scan quality.

EDIT 2: Also, now I'm listening to 30 Études mélodiques et progressives, Op. 46, thanks :)

I am 100% certain it's the scan quality :(
There is no way to convert the old scan into a new scan? :confused_old:
